Membership
We have a strong focus on nurturing musicians of all abilities and ages. We have a main band and a small training band so we can accommodate learners and established players
Whilst some players have been members of the band for a long time, others are enjoying rekindling their love of brass banding after a break of many years. We also have several new members who have joined us from various different musical backgrounds.
Although we are a non-contesting band, we work hard in rehearsals to constantly improve our performances. Being a sociable bunch, we also enjoy our well-earned mid-rehearsal coffee break!
We are always happy to welcome enthusiastic new players, so why not come along?
We rehearse under the conductorship of Graham Wells at Ellesborough Parish Hall near Wendover, Buckinghamshire on Friday evenings between 7:45pm and 9:45pm.
Performances & Events
We enjoy serving our local community by playing at summer fetes, parades and horticultural shows as well as more formal occasions such as the Aylesbury Town Remembrance service and church events.
Our concert performances throughout the year are a particular highlight in our calendar
We are known for playing a wide repertoire of entertaining music including pop chart hits, TV and film themes, marches, hymns and well-known classics.
The band have also travelled further afield, performing in France and Germany and we plan to play in Belgium as our next venture
